Who We Are

The story of Paper Thin Wit was chronicled in real time as Founder & Chief Creative Officer Amy Meadows began drafting playful illustrations to capture and share moments in her life with others starting in grade school. What began as an impromptu way to use her talent and career experience in the marketing & advertising industry to create hand-drawn gifts for family and friends soon spring-boarded into a creative business opportunity to share with others.

Amy’s style is marked with her heartfelt purpose of etching life’s joyful relationships and moments, great and small, on paper with thoughtful intention -always with the goal of triggering a smile from the recipient. When Amy creates, she makes herself laugh (yes, often at her own jokes), and she aims to pass that joy on to others through her art.

Her philosophy: What better way to spend her time than by helping people celebrate and honor life’s most precious gifts - our time and connections with others.

Amy, a proud graduate of The Ohio State University, returned to the nation’s Heartland after enjoying time in Chicago and Charlotte, N.C. to co-lead a Fraternity House of five teenage boys with her husband and their two slightly irregular terriers. We hope you enjoy her work!
